Make It Mine [MIM Theatre] came to light as a University project of all things. Jade was granted the I.T.P. [Independant Theatre Project] scheme in her final year, which saw her directorial debut with a sold-out run of 'As the Pendulum Swings' at the Rose Theatre in Kingston, by Richard Dawes. After this MIM Theatre began supporting non-profit organisations much like the B.A.A.T.N with our short series 'If I could Tell' and ActionAidUK with award-nominated short film 'Blossom: A Guide to Messy Womanhood'. Blossom was one of our most adventurous and rewarding lockdown projects as we tackled life's most hushed away events with a worldwide cast.

As a platform, MIM Theatre encourages creativity, catharsis, freedom of speech, peace and escapism...like most theatre establishments! What makes us different is our approach to these prominent and important aspects of theatre.

"The idea behind the company name is to simply take a script and perform it with our own interpretation, to bring something different to the audience; to make it our own."

More recently MIM Theatre has been expanding to workshop-based sessions in the local community to bring education to life for KS1. We are also providing sessions around senses and memory for vulnerable adults of any age and ability.

Theatre needs to be accessible, reachable, and approachable for all.

The company itself works on an Equal-share, Equal-rights and Equal-opportunity basis for all of their work. Jade would like it to be known that if you're a human you're welcome. Everyone is heard at MIM Theatre.
